Kodagu Educational & Social Service Trust, KESST, was formed mainly to provide support to underprivileged families in Kodagu to educate their children.
Our anticipated budget for 2024-25 is Rs 45 lakhs. Of this amount, keeping aside the reserve fund and bank interest we are looking to raise around Rs 40 lakhs. .
Your contributions, however small, would go a long way in assisting KESST to support children in the programs for the coming year.
KESST is registered for undertaking CSR activities.

To encourage those youth who are aspiring to join Defence services and sportspersons, Kodagu Educational and Social Service Trust and Kushalnagar Ex-Servicemen's Organisation organised the State-level Cross Country Race for Youth Eligible for Joining Defence Forces on 01 Dec 2024 at Government Junior College, Kushalnagar (Kodagu) for both boys and girls.
The upper age limit was 20 years. 120 boys and 80 girls participated. The occasion was graced by Subedar Greenidge D'Cruz, Indian International Handball player, Captain of the Indian Handball Team and coach of the Services Handball team.
B Prakash of Sport Hostel Kudige came first in the boys category (8km) with a timing of 23.28 minutes in a photo finish with CG Mitesh of SDM College, Ujre who came second with a timing of 23.29 minutes.
Gayathri of Sports Hostel Kudige came first in the girls category (5km) with a timing of 23.32 minutes. Santoshi of Sports Hostel Kudige came second with a timing of 24.14 minutes.

The year 2022-23 was a year of recovery after COVID and life re-commenced with a degree of near normalcy. In the financial year 2022-23, KESST has incurred an expenditure of Rs 21,29,234 /- to support 122 children, of which 63 are girls, 8 are orphans being cared for by grandparents or other relatives, and 109 have mothers as a single parent.
